Our Programs and Services

Our purpose is helping people and changing lives.

Men of Vision and Purpose (M.V.P.)

MVP is about men helping other men to become better husbands, fathers, and friends through sharing experiences, encouraging, teaching and praying for each other.

Women of Purpose (W.O.P.)

WOP is the vision of Dr. O. Virginia Phillips created to bring reconciliation, restoration and renewal to individuals, families and communities of every cultural group, religious denomination or social status to represent a united body of Christ.

Young People of Purpose (Y.P.O.P.)

Beginning with a focus on what God says in His Word, youth are taught the skills needed to be the leaders of tomorrow. They learn by example and experience through reaching out to the needs of the communities they live in and to each other.

The Extended Family Homes Program (EFH)

EFH is a concept as old as history itself. It’s purpose is to bring support back to families, particularly families of color, by opening our homes to children or families who have been locked in the DHS system. The extended family homes provides high-risk youth with a stabilized family lifestyle that enables them to become productive and responsible individuals. The extended family becomes the adolescents forever family.
Interested families are then certified for the program and parents receive support (finances, resources, respite, mentoring, counseling, etc).

Msaaba Missions Team

Maasaba is (Swahili for “help” or “aid”) is a perfect name for BMORR’s Mission Team. We are called to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) whether local, national or international in order to nurture spiritual generations of Christ-followers. The missions teams has traveled on missions to Africa (Arusha/Tanzinia, Kenya, Bondo, Uganda, Ghana, Rhondo, Malawi & Sierra Leone), Germany, and Guatemala

Local and national ministry teams teach Reconciliation, Restoration and Renewal by going door to door at times, in areas where conflict exists, offering to pray with people and share what they have learned about coming together in the name of Christ. The outreach includes bibles, books, prayer and supportive resources where needed.

The International Missions team travel to various parts of the world to meet with those the ministry has connected with. There are those who desire to be taught from the Word of God; some need encouragement, others need mentoring; and there are some who just need hygiene products or food. Prayer and an opportunity for individuals to experience Christ are a big part of what we do every place we go.

Our International Ministry also connects and partners with other ministries who work in educating children and helping women learn a skill to support their family.
